(Translated by Lee Kuei–shien).
After spring has been here, fallen flowers are left behind.
After autumn has been here, fruits are left behind.
After falling flowers have been here, red marks are left behind.
After fruits have been here, mysterious seeds are left behind.
I looked out your gaze from the faces of passersby
and listened to your chanting of the hymns.
Your dishes and chopsticks are still placed on the dining table.
Now, you travel through high mountains and low valleys,
passing over winds and rains.
You are in my breath
and in my blood.
I guided you walking through yesterday
while you lead me going towards tomorrow dawn.
You have been here,
you have been here,
what kind of me will be left behind you, behind you.
